National expert in regional anesthesia comes to Bozeman to workshop with GVAA

Dr. David Auyong, a nationally recognized expert in the field of regional anesthesia, recently came to Bozeman to lecture and workshop with the members of GVAA.

Patients who have regional anesthesia techniques performed as part of their surgical care (nerve blocks, spinal blocks, etc.) have been shown to have higher overall satisfaction, reduced pain scores, and earlier discharge. Other potential long-term benefits of regional anesthesia have also been described and are undergoing further investigation.
